Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about ConsortiumAI.

General

Is ConsortiumAI a trading bot?

No. ConsortiumAI is a capital coordination protocol.

While trading bots execute strategies based on signals, ConsortiumAI coordinates multiple AI agents to reach consensus before any capital moves. It's a fundamentally different approach to DeFi automation.

Does ConsortiumAI custody funds?

No. Users retain full control at all times.

  • Your keys stay in your wallet
  • ConsortiumAI cannot access your private keys
  • Funds move through smart contracts, not through ConsortiumAI
  • You can withdraw or disconnect at any time

What happens if agents disagree?

Nothing executes. Capital is protected.

Disagreement is a feature, not a bug. When MODEL_ALPHA and MODEL_BETA don't reach consensus:

  • No transaction is submitted
  • Your capital stays where it is
  • The system waits for clearer market signals

Can I customize risk?

Yes. Risk parameters are fully user-defined.

You can configure:

  • Risk profile (Conservative / Balanced / Aggressive)
  • Capital allocation limits
  • Strategy preferences
  • Auto-compounding settings

Is this fully autonomous?

Yes, within user-defined constraints.

ConsortiumAI operates autonomously but always respects:

  • Your risk parameters
  • Your capital limits
  • Your strategy preferences

You set the boundaries; ConsortiumAI operates within them.

Technical

How does consensus work?

The dual-LLM system requires both agents to agree:

  1. MODEL_ALPHA analyzes opportunities
  2. MODEL_BETA audits risks
  3. Both submit signed verdicts
  4. If consensus threshold (≥95%) is met, execution proceeds
  5. If not, no action is taken

What chains are supported?

Currently, ConsortiumAI operates on Solana.

How do I connect?

Simply connect a Solana wallet. No email, identity, or KYC required. Authentication happens via message signing.

Is my data private?

Your wallet activity is on-chain and public (as with all blockchain transactions). ConsortiumAI does not collect personal information beyond wallet addresses.

Safety

What protects me from bad trades?

Multiple layers of protection:

  1. Dual-agent consensus — Two AIs must agree
  2. Risk auditing — MODEL_BETA specifically checks for risks
  3. Pre-execution simulation — Slippage and liquidity verified
  4. User limits — Your parameters are always respected
  5. Disagreement protection — Uncertainty blocks execution

Can I lose money?

All DeFi activity carries risk. ConsortiumAI is designed to minimize risk through:

  • Consensus requirements
  • Risk auditing
  • Capital controls
  • Continuous monitoring

However, no system can eliminate all risk. Only deploy capital you can afford to have at risk.

How do I stop automation?

You can disconnect your wallet at any time to stop all automated activity. You can also:

  • Withdraw funds from active strategies
  • Modify risk parameters to be more conservative
  • Override specific pending operations

Getting Started

What do I need to start?

  1. A Solana wallet with funds
  2. Connect to ConsortiumAI
  3. Configure your risk preferences
  4. Let the consensus engine work

Is there a minimum amount?

There's no protocol-enforced minimum, but very small amounts may not be practical due to transaction costs.
